Oh my gosh, I absolutely adored Tempting the Tender Guy! It's one of those sweet, heartwarming stories that just melts your heart. The premise itself – a matchmaking scheme orchestrated by a gaggle of meddling grandmothers – is delightful, setting a charming, slightly quirky tone from the very beginning. But it's the characters, Mack and Sadie, who truly stole the show.

Mack, the talented but insecure tattoo artist grappling with hearing loss, is instantly relatable. His vulnerability, coupled with his quiet strength, made him incredibly endearing. He’s not perfect – far from it – and his struggle with his hearing felt incredibly genuine and poignant. The author did a wonderful job of portraying the emotional toll of such a condition, and the way Mack navigated it felt both realistic and hopeful. I really connected with his character, rooting for him every step of the way.

Sadie, on the other hand, presented a more complex challenge.
